Oddisee – The Iceberg
Amir Mohamed el Khalifa’s ‘The Iceberg’ not only validates the depth and more-than-meets-the-eye symbolism, but it also does a beautiful job of simplifying various issues that plague modern society. He creates poetry out of his personal experiences and feelings. Themes range from childhood, family, personal life and mental health to racism and terrorism. At the risk of being preachy, his words are highly relatable. A great fifty minutes of food for thought.
